Many people are left on their own when they accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at a crusade, special meeting or from a television broadcast. This list is to help you know the next steps to take:
- Visit churches
- Join a church
- Join a Sunday School class
- Go to fellowship events sponsored by local churches to meet other Christians
- If you are married look for Christian married couples to socialize with
- Start a prayer journal - When you begin to pray you will realize God is hearing and answering your prayers
- Find an accountability partner
- Begin reading the Bible each day
- Begin having a daily devotional reading
- Don't join every group and become burned out, find groups that match your common interests
- Find Christian Web sites to grow in knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ
- Find your niche at church and step up to serve as opportunities present themselves
- Evaluate what you and your family watch on TV, listen on the radio, etc.
- Find a good Christian radio station
- Always know your pastor is there for any kind of question
